Held at Portland College, the highlight of the Summer Lace Day was the display of work completed by our members in the last twelve months. The Hilda Marston Trophy was awarded to Shirley and the David Hirst award to Helen. Vicki Rowles gave a talk about the charity, Whizz-Kidz, which supports the families of children who cannot walk. Suppliers were MAKIT Lace, Margaret Wall (bobbins) and Stable Lodge Beads.
